These terms apply to consumer purchases of event tickets sold by Værftet or Nowhere AS through vaerftet.no.
Your purchase agreement consists of these terms, the event and ticket information presented before purchase, and any specific terms agreed with you. Event-specific information determines the dates, access, benefits and admission requirements applicable to your ticket.
Nothing in this agreement limits your mandatory consumer rights.
2. Ordering tickets
Before completing your purchase, check the event, dates, ticket type, quantity and contact details.
Your order becomes binding when you submit it using the checkout’s payment-obligation button. We will send an order confirmation to the email address provided.
An obvious pricing or typing error is not binding where the other party knew or should have understood that it was an error.
Contact support@vaerftet.no promptly if your order details are incorrect or you do not receive confirmation.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in Norwegian kroner unless stated otherwise and include applicable taxes. Compulsory booking fees and the total amount payable are displayed before you complete your purchase.
Payment is collected immediately when you complete your purchase.
We use Kustom Checkout, provided by Kustom AB, to present the available payment methods and facilitate checkout. Payments are processed by the provider associated with the payment method you select.
Available payment methods and any applicable payment-provider terms are presented at checkout. Kustom’s terms of use and privacy notice are also available there.
Værftet or Nowhere AS remains the seller of your ticket and your contact for questions about the event or purchase.
4. Ticket delivery and validity
Tickets are available immediately after a successful purchase by logging into My Værftet / Mitt Værftet on vaerftet.no.
If you cannot access your tickets, contact support@vaerftet.no so we can investigate and help you retrieve them.
Your ticket is valid only for the event, dates and access specified in its description. Any additional benefits or restrictions will be stated before purchase.
Keep your ticket and any QR code or barcode secure. Sharing or publishing it may allow someone else to use it. Contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use.
If we cannot supply the ticket you purchased, you are entitled to a refund. If we supply an incorrect ticket, contact us so we can correct the error. Your other rights under applicable law remain unaffected.
5. Ticket transfers and resale
The purchase is registered to the purchaser, but individual tickets are not personal or tied to the purchaser’s name. Tickets may therefore be transferred to another person without a name change.
The recipient must meet the event’s admission requirements and comply with the conditions attached to the ticket.
A transfer does not create an additional ticket or additional admission rights. Do not retain or use a copy of a ticket you have transferred, and do not share your account login details.
Order administration and direct communications remain with the original purchaser. If you transfer a ticket, you are responsible for passing relevant event information to the recipient. Refunds are normally returned through the original payment method.
Any resale must comply with applicable Norwegian law, including any applicable restrictions on resale above the permitted original price.
6. No statutory right of withdrawal for dated events
Tickets for leisure events taking place on a specified date or during a specified period are exempt from the statutory right of withdrawal under section 22(m) of the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act.
For these tickets, we do not offer refunds or exchanges simply because you change your mind, your plans change or you cannot attend, unless your ticket expressly includes that option.
This does not affect your rights if the event is cancelled, postponed or materially changed, or if we otherwise fail to fulfil the agreement.
7. Event development, changes and cancellations
What your ticket covers
Your ticket provides admission to the event described on the relevant event page, on the date or dates covered by your ticket.
Where an event is sold as an overall experience, the ticket does not guarantee any particular individual element unless expressly stated in its description.
Where an event is specifically advertised around a particular feature or element, that description remains part of the purchase agreement. The change provisions below do not remove the significance of what was expressly advertised.
Events sold before full details are announced
For some events, ticket sales may open before the full details have been announced. Where this is the case, it will be stated on the event or ticket page before purchase.
By purchasing on that basis, you acknowledge that the undisclosed details remain under development and will be revealed progressively. We do not guarantee any unannounced feature or element, or any minimum number of elements unless expressly stated in the ticket description.
Changes to the event
We reserve the right to develop and amend the experience, including announced elements, for reasonable production, operational or safety reasons, or because of illness, third-party cancellation or circumstances outside our reasonable control. This may include adding, replacing, withdrawing or rearranging individual elements, and changing schedules and locations within the event site.
We will make reasonable efforts to preserve the overall character and scope of the experience described at the time of purchase. We do not guarantee a like-for-like replacement for an individual element.
Changes of this kind do not in themselves entitle you to a refund, ticket exchange, price reduction or compensation, provided the event remains substantially consistent with the experience described when you purchased your ticket.
This reservation does not cover cancellation of the event, moving it to dates outside those covered by your ticket, or changes which, individually or together, substantially alter the overall character or scope of the purchased experience. The provisions below and any rights under applicable law continue to apply.
We will publish updates through our official channels and notify purchasers directly of material changes.
Cancellation
If we cancel the entire event, we will refund the ticket price and compulsory booking fees paid as part of your order.
We will contact the purchaser with information about the refund process. You will not be required to accept a voucher or a ticket for another event instead of a monetary refund.
Postponement
If the event moves to another date, we will offer you the choice of keeping your ticket for the rescheduled event or receiving a refund of the ticket price and compulsory booking fees.
Partial cancellation or interruption
If part of the event is cancelled or the event is interrupted, we will explain what has happened and assess any entitlement to a proportionate refund or other remedy.
Refund arrangements
Refunds will be made without undue delay, normally through the original payment method. Where further information is needed to process a refund, we will explain what is required.
Travel, accommodation and other purchases made separately are not included in the ticket refund. Any legal right to compensation remains unaffected.
Force majeure
We are not liable for damages arising from failure or delay in performing our obligations to the extent caused by extraordinary circumstances beyond our control that we could not reasonably have foreseen when the agreement was entered into, and whose effects we could not reasonably have avoided or overcome (force majeure), to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Such circumstances may include natural disasters, extreme weather, fire, war, acts of terrorism, epidemics, government-imposed prohibitions or restrictions, widespread disruption of public infrastructure and labour disputes outside our business, provided the conditions above are met.
Where such circumstances make it necessary, we may change, postpone, interrupt or cancel the event to the extent required. We will take reasonable steps to limit the consequences and inform purchasers without undue delay.
This clause does not limit your rights under these terms concerning cancellation, postponement, material changes, partial cancellation, interruption and refunds, or your mandatory rights under applicable law.
8. Admission and conduct
Event-specific admission requirements and rules are published on the relevant event page and made available before purchase. These may include age limits, identification requirements, entry procedures, re-entry arrangements and restrictions on items brought into the event.
Please read the requirements for your chosen event before buying. They apply to anyone using the ticket, including someone who receives it by transfer.
Attendees must follow reasonable safety instructions and the event rules forming part of the purchase agreement.
We may refuse admission where an attendee does not meet the admission requirements disclosed before purchase. We may also refuse admission or remove a person for threats, violence, serious disruption or another substantial breach of the event rules. Any decision must be proportionate and lawful. Any consequences for the ticket payment will be assessed under the agreement and applicable law.
Buying a ticket does not, by itself, constitute consent to the use of your identifiable image in advertising.
9. Communications and personal information
We use the contact details provided with your order to send confirmations and necessary information about your purchase, ticket access or the event.
Please provide accurate contact details and notify us if they change before the event.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we process personal information and use service providers.
Accepting these terms does not subscribe you to marketing or constitute consent to optional tracking.
10. Complaints and disputes
For questions or complaints, contact support@vaerftet.no. Please include your order reference and a description of the issue.
If we cannot resolve the matter, you may seek mediation through the Norwegian Consumer Authority, Forbrukertilsynet.
Norwegian law applies, without depriving you of mandatory consumer protection applicable in your country of residence. These terms do not restrict your statutory rights concerning where a dispute may be brought.
11. Changes to these terms
The version presented when you place your order applies to that purchase. Later amendments apply to future purchases.
